Easter School Holiday Programme

Service Description

Get ready for a fun and creative Easter break with Tamaasa's Easter School Holiday Programme! Our programme offers a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, nature art, doodle art, and more. With a maximum of 12 students per tutor and police vetting done on all tutors, you can rest assured that your kids will have a safe and engaging experience. All materials are supplied, so just bring your kids and let them explore their creativity in a supportive and encouraging environment. To be held at Waitakere Hall, please ensure your child has a lunch packed, and any snacks they would like. Ages 5-13 Full day 9AM to 3PM TUES/ WED Both weeks $85 includes all art materials and lessons Kids will be split into two groups for most the day, ages 5-9 and 10-13 TUES/ WEDS Programme Week One Ages 5 - 9 Nature Art - Rock painting, or nature fairy, mermaid, animal or creature artworks, using splat and bubble painting as well as other expressive art to create a magic nature inspired creations to take home. Ages 10 - 13 Abstract scraper paintings, creating a painterly artwork with Molotow pens, abstract paint techniques using illustration drawing and doodling over the top of a mixed media artwork created using abstract and mixed media materials, and fine art drawing and illustration over the top. TUES/WEDS Programme Week Two Ages 5 - 9 Portraiture - Creating a large portrait or Taniwha from found objects and collage found in nature and supplied, with painting, drawing and mixed media. Ages 10 - 13 Creating an grid painting to learn about composition and ensuring you have good proportions with the choice between 4 different artworks, ocean themed, nature themed, mystical creature dragons, or mystical creature unicorns and mermaids

Cancellation Policy

Please let us know if your child will be unable to attend the classes with 24 hours notice so we are aware of whether your child will be in class. Ensure you pack a lunch like a normal school day with any snacks and water required.
